Case study · Knowledge system
Across Careers, LLC
One brain for a whole coaching practice. It files and backlinks itself every night — so the answer is one question away.
The Problem
A coaching practice runs on scattered knowledge. Client notes live in one app, resources in another, session history and templates spread across Drive, Notes, Gmail, and Dropbox. The context that makes her valuable is real — but it is never in one place, and none of it answers a question on its own.
The System
Across Careers turns the whole practice into one brain. Every night it pulls new material from each connected tool, files it into concept notes by theme, dedupes the copies, and writes the backlinks — so the vault organizes itself while she sleeps. The surface is just chat: she asks in plain language and gets an answer drawn from across everything, with its sources shown.
Why it matters
It is the difference between hunting through five apps and asking one question. The knowledge compounds instead of scattering, the answer is always one prompt away, and everything stays in plain text and git — owned outright, never locked inside someone else's tool. Built and shipped for a working coaching practice.

Ask anything
One question pulls the answer from across the whole vault — not a single document.
Files itself
Every night it sorts new material, writes the backlinks, and builds a Concept note per theme.
Yours forever
Plain text, git-backed, undo anything. Nothing locked inside someone else's app.
Demo · The nightly sync
It files itself overnight
At 6 PM each night it pulls whatever's new from Drive, Notes, Gmail, and Dropbox, files each note under the right concept, archives the duplicates, and draws the backlinks — so a scattered week becomes one organized vault by morning.
Run the nightly sync to watch eleven scattered files sort, dedupe, and backlink themselves.
Demo · One brain, every tool
One brain across her whole stack
Her tools aren't replaced, they're connected. Each app feeds the same brain, so a single question can draw on Gmail, Drive, Notes, Dropbox, Obsidian, and Calendar at once — and the answer shows exactly which ones it used.
Pick a question and watch the cited tools light up and flow into the hub.
Demo · Ask the vault
The whole surface is a chat
There's no dashboard to learn. She asks the way she'd ask an assistant — “prep me for my 2 PM” — and gets a direct answer pulled from her own notes, every claim traced back to the source file.
Morning, Ash. Ask me anything across your vault — prep, follow-ups, who's working on what.
Tap a prompt to ask in plain language; every answer cites its sources.
Demo · Trace the links
Everything is connected
Because the nightly sync backlinks every note, the vault turns into a map of the practice. Tap any client, project, or resource and everything it touches lights up — the relationships surface on their own.
Tap any node to trace what it links to.
